I have been thinking of trying the "Insanity" workout with Shaun T. It seems like a rocker and I am all about extreme workouts. I have read that some of these workouts hold the potential of burning up to a 1000 calories per workout! WOW! That is definitley for me. Anyone reading this... If you have done this or are doing it, or at least thinking of doing it. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it.

Getting Ripped
I will tell you right now. If you want to get ripped, it has to be a lifestyle change and lifetime commitment. If you want to just get into shape, then you can exercise and do cardio a few times a week and eat healthy. You will definitly maintain your figure, but if you want to take it to the next level, and get massivly ripped, you have to dedicate yourself to at least 4 days a week and 2-3 hrs a day of hard core, pumping exercise. Whether it be strength training through pushups and pullups or weight training. I recommend both! But I will tell you right now. You will still not see the results you are looking for in the amount of time you would expect without a little help from protein powders and multi-vitamins. You have to at least consume 1 gram of protein per 1 lb of body weight a day. EVEN ON NON-TRAINING DAYS. You have to take your protein and your multi-vitamins daily no matter what. If you want massive gains, this is the way to do it. I will get more inot the routines and workouts later on. But for now, know this... that without a protein supplement, you are NOT going to get the gains you could be getting from all of your hard work. Yes, I know it is expensive, but being healthy is cheap when you are never sick and never have to go to the doctor because of heath problems. Stay tuned... I will share my exact routine and what works for me, and how I change it up constantly. Till next time NEVER GIVE UP!
P90X
I have done the P90x 3 times. I started January 22, 2009. That was day 1. I weighed 234 lbs. and had around 43% body fat. Since then I now weigh 175lbs and have around 12% body fat. I continue to do the P90x everyday plus addtional routines I have developed on my own to not only stay in shape, but because I love the workouts. I have done the Classic version twice and the Doubles version once. I still continue to eat right and I use lots of supplements like Pro Complex protein powder 60 gram of Protein per serving. BLack Powder by MRI as a pre- workout supplement, and I stack it with NO2 Black. Plus Multi-vitamins, and the best of all... tons of fruits and vegetables, with a daily dose of Chicken or lean steak for real protein. I am looking now to try out the "Insanity" workout by Shaun T. Anybody tried that yet?
